How to register, log in, and renew Saudi National ID Card

Apply for a Saudi national ID

  1. Book an appointment through the Absher platform (absher.sa) or the Ministry of Interior.
  2. Attend the Civil Affairs (Al Ahwal) office with the required documents and photo.
  3. Provide biometrics and collect or receive the issued national ID card.

Renew your national ID

  1. Log in to Absher and open the identity services to start a renewal before or after expiry.
  2. Update your photo and details if required and pay any applicable fee.
  3. Collect the renewed card or have it delivered as directed.
